William J. Abbott has been President and CEO and a director of Crown Media Holdings since June 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Abbott served as Executive Vice President, National Advertising Sales at Hallmark Channel. Mr. Abbott joined Hallmark Channel in 2002, after serving as Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, for Fox Family Worldwide since 1988. Prior to this, Mr. Abbott was Vice President, Eastern Sales at Fox Family Worldwide. Mr. Abbott's experience also includes positions with CBS Radio Networks, Seltel, Inc. and Nadler & Larimaer Advertising.

Ed Georger was appointed Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales in January 2011 and also serves as General Manager of Hallmark Movie Channel. Prior to this, Mr. Georger served as Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales. Before joining Crown Media, Mr. Georger held key positions at the cable television networks Family Channel and Fox Family Channel, where he was Vice President of Eastern Sales. He also worked as a network buyer at Backer Spielvogel Bates, Inc. on major accounts.

Annie Howell joined Crown Media as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications & Media Relations in October 2010. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Howell served as Senior Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs at Planet Green and TreeHugger.com, Discovery Communications' global cross-platform initiative and channel devoted to the environment. Prior to that, Ms. Howell was Senior Vice President, Communications in Discovery Communications' U.S. Networks division. Prior to joining Discovery, she was a vice president at the Washington D.C.-based public affairs firm Powell Tate. She also served as an account executive with Ogilvy & Mather Public Affairs.

Laura Lee has been Executive Vice President of Distribution since March 2013. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of Distribution from 2005 to March 2013. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Lee served as the regional manager of affiliate sales for E! Entertainment Television.

 

Susanne McAvoy was named as Executive Vice President, Marketing in January 2011. Prior to this, Ms. McAvoy was Senior Vice President, Ad Sales Marketing of the Company. Before joining Crown Media, Ms. McAvoy was an Ad Sales Marketing Consultant for Bravo. She previously held various marketing positions with Comcast, Oxygen Media and MTV. She is a Board member of the New York Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications.

Andrew Rooke joined Crown Media in March 2011 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Mr. Rooke was Chief Financial Officer of News Corporation's Twentieth Television. Previously Mr. Rooke worked in top finance positions at MySpace.com, Fox Entertainment Group and Time Warner's Warner Bros. Mr. Rooke began his career with Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles and London, and Cape & Dalgleish in London.

Charles L. Stanford has been Executive Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs and General Counsel of Crown Media Holdings since May 2001. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Business Affairs and General Counsel of Crown Media Holdings from October 2000 to May 2001. He also served as Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs of Crown Media International from November 1999 through October 2000. Mr. Stanford served as Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs of Cable and New Media of ABC, Inc. from January 1996 until October 1999.

Michelle Vicary was named Executive Vice President, Programming in January 2011. She has held various positions throughout her tenure at the Company, most recently as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Scheduling. Before joining Crown Media, Ms. Vicary was Vice President of Marketing for Evening Star Music Group.
